Kassandra Shaw

Originally from Rhode Island, I worked as a nursing assistant at a pediatric skilled nursing facility during nursing school. After receiving my associate degree in nursing, I worked as a nurse at the same institution while I earned my bachelor’s degree. I relocated to Georgia in 2017. Since then, I have worked on a pediatric specialty floor for the last nine years, earning my Certified Pediatric Nursing and chemotherapy administration credentials. I am a proud recipient of the DAISY Award. After seeing a social media post from Apparo, I felt called to the school and to help serve this community. I am lucky and proud to be a part of the Apparo team!
