Ways to Volunteer at Apparo Academy
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the form on our Volunteer Registry and then select a date to schedule your orientation among the classes that are provided monthly. For further questions, you can contact Maria Boose, Volunteer Coordinator for future scheduling and orientation.
- Classroom Assistance: Support teachers by engaging with children through reading, play, and learning activities.
- Event Support: Help with setup, coordination, and execution of special events and fundraisers.
- Facility & Supply Organization: Assist with organizing materials, preparing classroom supplies, and maintaining the facility.
- Group Service Projects: Participate in activities like playground improvements, event setup, or themed activity days.
- Skill-Based Volunteering: Offer expertise in areas such as marketing, administration, photography, or social media.
- Community Engagement: Spread awareness and advocate for Apparo Academy’s mission to support children with special needs.
- Open to Individuals & Groups: We welcome both individual volunteers and groups looking to make a meaningful impact!

Apparo Academy Golf Tournament
Despite the devastation from Hurricane Helene, the CSRA community came out and supported Apparo by helping us to raise $120,000 in our 7th Annual Golf Tournament.
We appreciate the teams that played in the tournament (even after 2 date changes), hole sponsors and event sponsors.
