Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Matthew 25:40, KJV
My passion for pediatric physical therapy began with a service trip to an orphanage in Anhui, China in the summer of 2016 where I volunteered on the rehabilitation floor. This was when I discovered my interest in working with children with disabilities and injuries. Since then, I have worked with children in various settings including my clinical rotation at the children’s hospital of Georgia and during my time as a gymnastics coach. These experiences have taught me the importance of individualized care and a compassionate approach as each child has unique needs and goals. The interdisciplinary teamwork at Apparo Academy, combined with the center’s commitment to personalized, holistic care, aligns perfectly with my professional values and aspirations.
