Dorothy Blades Burch

I began my educational journey at The Academy of Richmond County, where I earned my high school diploma. Following this, I attended Augusta Technical College and obtained a certification as a Child Development Specialist. Over the past 10+ years, I have gained extensive experience working with various nonprofit organizations and educational institutions, including both private and public schools. My work has focused on supporting and teaching children across a wide age range, from six weeks to 21 years old. While our educational system has its flaws, being at Apparo has proven to me that there’s no doubt that intelligent, compassionate, and dedicated teachers are essential for the future of our country and the students who rely on them each day. As a teacher, I’m proud to feel that my work is making a meaningful contribution to society and our community.
